Medical Humanities at the Philippine General Hospital, in the time of COVID-19

In April, 2020 a call went out for photos and written pieces chronicling the pandemic experience at the University of the Philippines and Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) – the plan was to collect these for the PGH Human Spirit Project. The pandemic isn’t over yet, but here are the fruits of that labor: a 3-volume anthology series.

I wanted to help. But I wasn’t there. Which may or may not be a good thing – only time will tell.

In the meantime, I am looking forward to reading this. Launching tomorrow, December 21, 2020 on the Facebook page of the PGH Human Spirit Project. It will first be released as a free e-books, then as a set of hardcover volumes in 2021. Which I just realized starts in a few days!
