12. Wigged Out
May 24, 2022
Update. Visited the oncologist today to hammer out a breast cancer treatment plan for the next few months. Chemotherapy starts Monday morning, May 30. Four cycles, three weeks apart, for a total of 12 weeks of treatment. Then radiation after that.
After a lovely lunch, I reluctantly went wig shopping with mom. The human hair wig comes with a free stand and hairnet. Doreen the breast cancer mascot does an in-the-box inspection and thinks the accompanying stand (I guess you could call it a headstand? haha) fits the wig but is too big for her. Edited to add: wig on a pig!
A reversible bucket hat I bought online also got delivered today. I suspect I will be wearing the hat more often than the wig.
