Performing Arts Medicine Clinic Goes Live!
February 10, 2024. Lunar new year (year of the wood dragon).
Today I got to do what I set out to do in medical school: have a clinic exclusively for performing artists. Could not have done this without the support of many, many people across the years – grateful to them, and to God who made our paths cross.
Our team decided it would be a “soft opening” so we can work out the kinks. Overall I think it went well. Lots of learning for the PGH Department of Rehabilitation Medicine faculty, trainees, and occupational therapist today. We also had the added bonus of discussing possible research projects – even our downtime was productive 
But above all, we are happy that we have been able to help a few people feel better today – it’s a great start!
