#ASPAH2023 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Made it to Brisbane for the the Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare annual conference. First in-person meeting since 2019, and learning from the pandemic: it’s a hybrid conference that is also available online!
As with most formal Australian gatherings, there was a Welcome to Country ceremony from a representative of the First Nations (indigenous) people of Brisbane (Meanjin). I don’t have a photo of the ceremony, but here I am with Derek afterwards.

So glad I decided to come to Brisbane for ASPAH instead of attending online. It has been an excellent experience learning from and networking with other healthcare workers, educators and artists who share a passion for #performingartsmedicine. Thank you very much to the Australian Society for Performing Arts Health for the opportunity!
