(A Belated) World Voice Day at Asian Hospital & Medical Center

Here is a belated post to match a belated celebration! World Voice Day was on April 16, but due to scheduling conflicts we had to move to April 22. Close enough!

The Performing Arts Medicine Advocates National Association of the Philippines (PAMANA PH) is grateful for the opportunity to participate during the Asian Hospital and Medical Center’s World Voice Day celebration last April 22, 2026! I gave a talk introducing Performing Arts Medicine to the audience, followed by laryngologist-to-the-stars Dr. Melfred Hernandez speaking about the Vocal Athlete. Voiceover artist (it is one of her many hats) Joyce Burton Titular led us through some vocal yoga with her husband Ron Titular modeling poses alongside. They advertised VoiceConPH which was happening two days after the Asian Hospital event. And a lay forum about the voice would not be complete with singers performing: GMP Artist Agency‘s La Voce Tenors and The World Champions, and their affiliated performing arts school The Academy of Performing Arts.

It was good to connect with healthcare people, performing arts people, and healthcare-performing arts people on this Wednesday morning! Hoping for more opportunities like this to come.
