Sinag: the Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine (PARM) Annual Conference
PAMANA PH represent! After last year’s session on dance medicine, we are grateful for the opportunity to shine the spotlight on musicians this year during the Performing Arts Medicine track at the Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine (PARM) and ASEAN Rehabilitation Medicine Association joint convention in Manila. The three talks on the performing voice by otorhinolaryngologist Dr. Melfred Hernandez, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Nathaniel Orillaza, Jr. and physiatrist Dr. Jennifer Yang comprised the grand finale for the 3-day international conference at the Manila Hotel (February 21-23, 2025). Trivia: all three speakers are alumni of the UP MedChoir from the University of the Philippines (UP College of Medicine). Many thanks to Drs.
