56. Hoppy Birthday
Posting this now, because it is already April 30th in Kiribati – the first country that greets a new day (UTC+14)!
Thankful for the year that was, hopeful for the year that will be. Love to all!
Breast cancer update: I had appointments with the breast surgeon and the medical oncologist. Both went well. I made it to the breast surgeon appointment in-person, but needed to switch the medical oncologist appointment to a teleconsult at the last minute. COVID-19 finally got me and I had to isolate. Thankfully symptoms were mild (yes, a relative term) and manageable at home: fever, headache, nasal congestion, fatigue. I did not lose my senses of smell or taste. I am better now, just a lingering but improving cough that is usual for me after any respiratory tract infection – the effects of my mild asthma and hyperreactive airways.
Achievement unlocked: I learned to use Canva… adventures in graphic design.
